1. Demonstration of milk whey demineralization by electrodialysis (ED) - NEW ADDED!!!
- Technological laboratory – salinity test
- Instrument: Laboratory ED-Z unit
- Objective: Assembling of ED laboratory modules and test basic function by salinity test. Demonstration of function by desalination of wine – role of salinity in taste of wine.

2. Determination of basic properties of ion separation membranes
- Quality control laboratory – electrochemical methods
- Objective: Determination of basic properties of ion separation membranes like electrical resistivity, ion selectivity, ion exchange capacity and chronopotenciometric characterization of bipolar membranes.

3. Determination of permeability characteristic of gas separation membrane module
- Gas separation laboratory – gas separation procedure
- Objective: Measuring of hollow fiber gas separation properties of modules by Prima BT magnetic sector mass spectrometer. Comparison of mass spectrometer determination of gases with classical gas chromatography determination of gases.

4. Demonstration of water solution demineralization by electrodialysis (ED)

5. Production acids and hydroxides from corresponding salt by electrodialysis with bipolar membranes (EDBM)
- Technological laboratory – Bipolar membrane
- Instrument: Laboratory EDBM-Z unit
- Objective: Assembling and characterization of EDBM laboratory modules by test production of acid and hydroxide from corresponding salt.

6. Demonstration of electro-separation ion-exchange process by electrodialysis-metathesis (ED-M)
- Technological laboratory – metathesis
- Instrument: Laboratory EDM-Z unit
- Objective: Assembling of ED-M modules and characterization of process characteristics of ED-M system.

7. Determination of basic functions of industrial electrodeionization module (EDI)
- Pilot plant hall – Testing apertures for industrial module
- Instrument: Industrial MPURE EDI M36 module
- Objective: Industrial scale module introduction and quality control of EDI membrane module. Ion transport characterization, energy efficiency and hydraulic testing will be discussed.
