Hadi Taghavian (Technical University of Liberec, Institute for Nanomaterials, Advanced Technologies and Innovation) for oral presentation Improved air-assisted surface modification of PTFE hollow fiber membrane via polydopamine incorporated Zinc oxide nanoparticles for water purification
Guoqiang Li (Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń) for oral presentation Pebax/PVDF thin film mixed matrix membranes containing HKUST-1@GO [2] composite for CO2 capture.
European Membrane Society awarded PhD Students Awards and Young Academics Award, which where also announced during the Closing ceremony and the awarded students were:

Serena Regina from National Research Council of Italy, Institute on Membrane Technology (CNR-ITM) in Rende, Italy,
Chidiebere Nnebuo from Zuckerberg Institute for Water Research, Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel.
Young Academics Award:
Asmaa Selim from Institute of Materials and Environmental Chemistry, Research Centre for Natural Science, Budapest, Hungary.
